ANTARCTIC EXPEDITIONS AND STATIONS POSTAL HISTORY UNIT: 1956-2012, over 400 covers, postcards, radio-telegrams, QSL cards, all housed in two large binders, starting with three 1st Voyage covers bearing ”Antarctic Expedition 15.3.56” date stamps and addressed to Ukraine, then about 10 items sent from this Expedition with later dates, items posted from 2nd and later Expeditions, following covers sent from Mirny, Komsomolskaya, Sovetskaya, Vostok, Pionerskaya, Oasis and etc. Stations, about 100 pieces are representing pre-1961 expeditions, great variety of cacheted covers/cards and cancellations, some items with autographs of expedition crew, fabulous holding in every respect, F/VF, Est. $1,500-$2,000
