OCTAGONAL TRAVELING POST OFFICE (TPO) MARKINGS: 1886- 1900, 8 covers or postcards, each one with octagonal ”Postal Section of the Coach No…” date stamps, Serial No. from 1 to 7 at the bottom of each marking, TPO No. from 3 to 147 (two items have no numbers), occasional flaws, still F/VF and scarce unit. These cancellations were used for correspondences delivered not in usual mail cars, but in special sections of fast or express coaches, Est. $200-$250
