STARTING COLLECTION OF RUSSIA, RSFSR AND SOVIET UNION ON COLOR ILLUSTRATED PAGES IN ALBUMS: 1857-1954, over 750 mint and used stamps plus four souvenir sheets, starting with used No.1 and mint (no gum) No.2, used No.4, mint No.5-7 and 10 (full OG), No.11 mint and used (1864), mint Romanov Dynasty No.88-104, not much special in RSFSR issues, except Rostov-on-Don set, highlights from Soviet Union issues included Malygin imperf set, Polar Year, Balloons of 1933, Stratosphere Disaster, Dirigibles, 10-Years without Lenin, Anti-War Propaganda, Chelyuskin Rescue, Levanevsky surcharge with small ”f” variety, Engels, Aviation souvenir sheet, from the later issues – Pioneers of 1948 and Development of Communism of 1951, minor flaws possible, generally full OG, some NH, but mainly LH, F/VF, SC.v. is about 1,500,000P=US$21,400
